Tina Amberboy joined the Supreme Court of Texas as the Executive Director of the Permanent Judicial Commission for Children, Youth and Families in May 2007. She is responsible for developing and executing strategies of the Children's Commission, as well as the day to day functioning of the Commission, which is charged with improving child welfare outcomes for children and families through judicial system reform and leadership. Prior to working for the Supreme Court, she worked as an attorney representing children and parents in the child welfare system. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School in 1996 and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993.
